Robotic Visual Inspection

Robotic visual inspection technology utilizes advanced Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s) to capture internal images of the pipeline that will assist the customer in determining future procedures, cost savings and planning.

The ROV for Visual Inspection is a small robot, equipped with camera and lighting, connected to an external control panel via an umbilical cable.

Capturing high resolution images allows you to view general internal conditions, possible debris, existing imperfections, corrosion, etc.

The client can follow the whole procedure in real time, instantly indicating the points that require special attention. At the end of the inspection the recorded notes and images are delivered to the customer for further analysis and decision making.

Leak Detection

An advanced smart pig system for detection of small leaks that uses free-swimming technology allowing the tool to stay in standby for up to 3 weeks inside the launcher, being easily released as many times as necessary.

Pipeline sealing validation with the product itself.

Instead of using water, this technique allows the verification of leaks with the product itself. The inspection is performed during the normal operating cycle and the results evaluation is fully automated. The program used generates data that can be displayed in Google Maps® or Google Earth® facilitating the analysis and verification of pipeline integrity.

Technical Data

• Tools available from 4” up to 50”

• Maximum operating pressure of 100 bar (1470 psi)

• ATEX certified

Pipeline Rehabilitation

The internal repair technology in water lines with a structural liner application is a cost-effective solution that saves time and money by ensuring a long pipe life as well as repairing defects at the same time. This is possible without the need of costly open trench removal and pipe replacement.

The coating consists of a glass fiber impregnated with polyester resin to be applied within the old pipe, which will serve as a mold for the new internal coating. Once introduced into the pipeline the Liner is adjusted perfectly to the pipe wall with the use of compressed air. The final step in the rehabilitation procedure being the resin is cured through the application of ultraviolet lights. Tie-ins may also be done at branch connections.

Technical Data

• Nominal diameters from DN 150 up to DN 1200

• Wall thickness from 3 mm up to 12 mm

• Non-destructive method eliminating excavation

• Cure by ultraviolet or water vapor

• There is no compromise in flow due to the low thickness of the liner
